December ’24
Director’s Desk

We hope you’re ready to embark on a month filled with winter wonders and holiday cheer! The month will kick off with holiday programs, holiday crafts a “special visitor” on the 16th and festivities throughout the building. This is all with continued learning and academics. This past fall has been productive in all classes, and we hope you see the continued growth and progress in your child as much as we do. Thank you as always for your continued support and we wish you all the happiest of holidays!

Best, Kristine

Lost & Found

Please take a few moments before our holiday break to check out our lost and found basket. All items will be taken to CHKD at the close of business on December 20th. There are jackets, sweaters, water bottles, and so much more!

The Noblemen

As the holiday season approaches, we have partnered with The Noblemen to give back to our community. Please join us in helping the Noblemen make Christmas wishes come true for some great kids here in Hampton Roads by placing a new and unwrapped toy in the large green box in the lobby.

We will be accepting donations starting November 25th until December 13th. Thank you in advance for your help in making holiday magic happen for children in our area.

Winter Program

What we are learning

All the classes will devote the month of December to holiday preparations, both Christmas and Hanukkah. All the children will make crafts and learn songs for their celebrations. In addition to ongoing learning, this month’s activities will include making and wrapping gifts your children have made for you, baking, and preparing for the holidays. Kindergarten studies the instruments of the orchestra to help them learn to appreciate the music they will hear this holiday season.
