June ’25
Director’s Desk
As the end of the school year hurtles towards us, I would like to reminisce a bit, for it truly has been a wonderful year. The school spirit and parental support have been tremendous. Thank you, one, and all! It seems like years ago, but remember the fantastic Pumpkin Patch Parade last fall? In addition, the Holiday program brought out the sweetness and enchantment of the children and reinforced the purpose of what everything is for – the spirit of love and friendship we all share. Looking back over the past nine months I see achievement and growth in the children, in the school, and in the BBMS staff. We owe it all to you and your cheerful support. Thanks for sharing your child with us and providing us the opportunity to teach and the enjoyment of watching them mature. Our last day of school is June 13th. Thank you again for a wonderful year. I hope to see many of you either this summer or next fall. If not, I thank you for your support this year and wish you and your family the very best.
Sincerely,
Betsey Cremin
A message from Ms. Paloma ….
The past seven years will always hold a special place in my heart. All the laughter, joy and love I will carry with me for the rest of my life. An opportunity has presented itself to teach on the Eastern Shore, close to my home. Therefore, I will not be returning to Broad Bay Manor in the fall. Thank you all for sharing your amazing kids with me.
With love,
Ms. Paloma

What We Are Learning
2’s – Our two-year-olds finish the year learning about the warmer season of summer. They will celebrate the end of the year with a fun picnic and water play.
3’s– They will study Dr. Seuss and his zany characters. The Cat in the Hat and all his friends– Horton, and Yertle become our vehicles for learning. Rhymes, math, crafts, and songs all focus on Seuss themes during these last days. It all ends with the notorious breakfast at Broad Bay featuring Green Eggs and Ham
4’s – The Four-year-old classes will be introduced to the accomplished children’s writer and animator Mo Willems. The humor in his books will capture imaginations and the cartoon illustrations are delightful for little eyes.
Pre-K– They will celebrate many stories of Dr. Suess, with crafts, math, rhyming words, and fun snacks.
K – Kindergarten prepares for their final ceremony. They review all they have learned from the unit studies, then write about their favorite unit as well as illustrate it. On June 11th we will have our graduation ceremony for our kindergarteners. Mrs. Profilet will send out more information as we get closer to the big day. Bring your camera and tissues. This is a nostalgic moment for all of us!
