November ’25
Director’s Desk
If November is even half as lovely as October, we are in for a fantastic November! Halloween is now a memory and so many wonderful holidays are just around the corner. All the parties were fun events for the classes, and we always love seeing all the children (even teachers) dress up for our Pumpkin Patch Parades!
We look forward to seeing everyone at our first conference day November 4th! Thank you as always for all your continued support!
Best,
Kristine
Conference Day
Conference Day is quickly approaching. All teachers have sent out a sign-up genius link for you to sign up for your time slot to meet with them. Teachers will use these conferences to keep you as up to date as possible on your students’ social, emotional, and academic progress. We are excited to share with you the many amazing things your students are learning and how they are growing.
School is CLOSED for half-day students and school-age students – ONLY full day students may attend.
Please arrive on time and understand conferences are scheduled for 15 minutes – if you need more time, additional time can be scheduled with your teacher at a later date.

Kindergarten Families
While it may seem early, now is the time to start looking into your first-grade options. If you want information regarding the various private schools in the area, please reach out to us or Ms. Hobbs. Many schools will have open houses in the coming months and applications are usually due in December or January.
TOY DRIVE
We are once again partnering with The Nobleman this holiday season. Bring in your new toys (for children of all ages) in December for those in need. More information and dates to come!
What we are learning
2’s – The two’s have made incredible progress! This month they will explore their homes. It’s a gradual evolution away from awareness of themselves and their senses to their environment.
3’s – The three-year-old classes will be introduced to Eric Carle, the celebrated children’s author. The classes will enjoy his colorful and illustrative techniques. They will do a lot of cooking and finish the month with a Thanksgiving feast!
4’s – This month is the bear unit in fours! From Corduroy, Pooh, Paddington, and bears in their natural environment. They will learn it all. Some activities may include packing Corduroy’s suitcase, painting Pooh bear and finishing up the month with a teddy bear picnic!
PreK – Our PreK classes have finished up studying weather and seasons and will now study horses and rodeos. This is an exciting unit that combines facts about horses with delightful stories of the American cowboy. The class will also learn about different types of horses and end the unit with a “Rodeo” party. The end of the month will wrap up with a Thanksgiving feast.
Kindergarten – The kindergarten class will explore nature as the original Americans found it. We learn what the native Americans discovered, when they arrived at this continent and how they adapted their lifestyles to the new environment. Emphasis is on the culture, clothes and lives of Native Americans. The month will end with a feast!
